Why use humor in presentations? Because... "Humor increases persuasion's effectiveness." - Dr. Jim Lyttle
I am comedian, author & idiot Marshall Chiles and I will show you step-by-step proven methodologies to help you add humor to your presentations (business, sales, probation hearings, etc) in order to increase your persuasion by increasing your likability & engagement.
"I used your recommendations and absolutely crushed my sales presentation at the conference. Was told I was a stand out speaker and was really able to get the crowd engaged with some humor. You the man!" - Ryan Hughes, 360 Risk Partners
After 16 years as a comedian and comedy entrepreneur, I have taken my knowledge of comedy and business to write this book. YPIJ initially was as an introductory course for new comedians which I turned into a video that is the most watched and highest rated youtube video for learning stand-up comedy. I then adapted that content for business presenters because I am not just a comedian, I am also a successful entrepreneur and been on the board of Entrepreneurs' Organization since 2015.
I have combined my comedy knowledge and business acumen to help business folk be funnier on stage when applying what YPIJ teaches you. This content really works which is why it is now a text book at The University of Alabama and won an award from YPO (Young Presidents' Organization www.ypo.org) which is one of the most elite executive groups on the planet.
"Simple techniques that you can easily follow and apply to bring a little more levity to your presentations. I would recommend trying." - recent 5-star review. FYI, read the reviews, this book works.
If you have a business presentation, then you want to stand out, have people pay attention and give you their money. I submit humor is the way to reach those goals. In this book you will learn how to stay out of trouble with my 'Humor Rules' as well as proven techniques to get you (intended) laughs during your presentation(s). So whether you’re a seasoned public speaker, a new speaker, or you just think I'm pretty and want to give me money, go on and get Your Presentation is a Joke.

About the Author
I do not pursue stand-up like most of my friends because I am married with two kids and I have no desire to go on the road telling jokes for $100/show. I gots bills to pays!
So these days I call myself a comedy entrepreneur because I focus more on the business side of comedy... although I will always do stand-up because making people laugh is the best feelings in the world. I should know, I have been able to do it like four times.
I founded Humor Wins in 2014 as a way to bring value to organizations with my knowledge of comedy and business. I now speak to business leaders all over the country teaching them how to pepper their presentations with humor to increase business engagements and likability. www.HumorWins.com
We also do corporate comedy roasts which are considered "One of the best events in company history!" www.CorporateComedyRoast.com
Before starting Humor Wins, I founded several comedy clubs and festivals across the country: The Laughing Skull Lounge, The Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and Laughing Skull Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, The Asbury Park Comedy Festival in New Jersey, The Laughing Devil in NY, NY and Morty's Comedy Club in Indianapolis, IN. As you can see, I am building a comedy empire to pass on to his sons so they can run it into the ground.
