The Best Book for SAT Math Prep
The PrepPros Complete Guide to SAT Math provides the most comprehensive and up-to-date SAT book for paper SAT. Unlike many other prep books, this book covers everything tested on the SAT, highlights the most effective test-taking tricks to “cheat” your way to the correct answer, and includes advanced content and challenging practice questions for students aiming for a perfect score. In this book, Matthew and Michael Stroup, two expert tutors with over 14 years and 12,000 hours of tutoring experience, share the strategies, test-taking techniques, and methods that they have used to help over 1,200 students conquer the SAT Math Test. This book has been used by our students over the past 3 years and perfected based on student feedback. It works really well for our students, and we know it will be just as effective for you.
To allow students to most effectively use this book in conjunction with Practice SATs, we have compiled an easy-to-use glossary for every SAT Practice Test from the College Board (over 20 SATs and counting) that identifies the chapters in this book students need to complete based on questions they answer incorrectly. This glossary is free on our website www.preppros.io/math-book and is constantly updated with newly released SATs.
PrepPros: The Complete Guide to SAT Math includes:
- On-demand videos with our free SAT Math Course that teach each chapter for students who learn better from videos.
- Everything you need to know to ace the SAT Math Test in one book.
- Proven strategies to maximize your SAT Math score.
- Great Results – students completing this book improve their SAT Math scores up to 250 points.
- Over 900 practice questions written to accurately reflect the real SAT.
- 35 chapters covering every commonly tested topic that has appeared on the SAT since the redesign of the test in 2016.
- Detailed instruction pages and examples that clearly illustrate all of the content, question types, and different methods for solving problems.
- Advanced questions to challenge students aiming for a perfect score.
- Extremely thorough answer explanations for every single question that show the “math teacher method” and alternative shortcut methods.
- Written by two expert SAT tutors with a combined 14 years and over 12,000 hours of tutoring experience.
To view a free chapter of the book, you can go to the PrepPros website and click on the Math Book Page. Each chapter has instruction pages that teach the concepts and includes example questions and solutions that show students how to solve the most common types of questions for each topic on the SAT. At the end of each chapter, there is practice problem set with questions written to appear just like real SAT questions. Each question has a thorough answer explanation showing the way or ways to solve.
