William Wilberforce, 1818, Thirteenth Edition, A Practical View of the Prevailing Religious System of Professed Christians in the Higher and Middle Classes in this Country, Contrasted with Real Christianity. A very good copy. Half leather binding with marbled cover front and back and marbled end papers. Also marbled to all book edges. Slight rubbing to edges of spine, top and bottom of spine and edges of binding. Minimal foxing to end papers and first three pages of contents pages at front of book. Marbled paper has come away from cover (edge only) on back cover - 8cm on bottom edge 4cm on long edge and half cm. on top edge. Gilt title and decoration to spine. Gilt line along corner and spine leather edges.This remains a very good copy. 220 mm x 135 mm.
