Oversized, oblong atlas folio, tan wraps with black lettering; 13 measured drawings on paper with cloth background of ten vehicles with letterpress directions and commentary. The 13 plates are as follows: 1. pony cart; 2. wagonette; 3. stanhope gig; 4. park phaeton; 5. victoria; 6. canoe landau; 7. inside of a canoe landau; 8. brougham; 9. inside elevation of a brougham body; 10. barouche; 11. angular landau; 12. framing and 13. funeral car. The plates and text are suffifiently detailed (including dimensions) to enable exact reproductions to be made. 29x20x1" Fair (front and rear covers are torn completely in half and chipping along edges, plates are age toned with light soiling, chipping along edges, crease from being folded in half, all plates are present).

Our specialties include the Humanities, with an emphasis on Art, Architecture, Photography, Decorative Arts, History, as well as Periodicals related to those areas. We have very rare as well as fairly common titles. Current inventory is approximately 79,000 titles. We have about 1000' of backlog in our specialties numbering over 30,000 items (including 20,000+ smaller and ephemeral catalogues devoted to individual artist exhibitions). Current stock occupies over 2.3 miles of shelving. We are active buyers as well as very active sellers, and supply entire reference libraries as well as individual titles. We ship books almost everywhere, with the exception of China due to restrictions. Our website mullenbooks.com maintains our entire database of over 150,000 titles dynamically, so you can submit "wants" for books which are listed, but not currently in-stock.
