About the Author: \Ruth Ravid is Professor, National College of Education, National-Louis University, Illinois. Professor Ravid is editor of The Adjunct Connection newsletter and co-editor of The Many Faces of School- University Collaboration: Characteristics of Successful Partnerships (Teachers Ideas Press, 2001). She holds an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Education from Northwestern University, Illinois.
