In good condition, with minor rubbing and wear to boards and spine. Minor hinge wear at front and back of book. Text block remains in good condition and bound well. Minor marginalia towards front of book. Light instances of staining. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. A rather scarce philosophical piece, having been based on the writings of Adolph Freiherr Knigge (1752-1796), who is best known for helping to found the Illuminati and for contributions to Freemasonry.
