Artificial Intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept reserved for research labs and tech giants—it is rapidly transforming the way we build software, automate tasks, analyze data, and solve real-world problems. The question is no longer whether AI matters, but whether you have the skills to build with it.
Practical AI and Machine Learning with Python is your hands-on roadmap to entering the world of modern AI—without getting lost in overwhelming theory or complex mathematics.
Whether you are a beginner programmer, aspiring machine learning engineer, software developer, data analyst, student, or tech enthusiast, this book is designed to help you move beyond tutorials and start building real AI systems that actually work.
Inside this book, you will learn how to design, build, train, and deploy practical AI-powered solutions using Python and industry-standard tools such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and OpenAI APIs.
This is not a theory-heavy textbook.
This is a practical guide built around real projects, code walkthroughs, and step-by-step implementation.
You will learn how to:
- Build machine learning models for prediction and classification
- Clean, preprocess, and analyze real-world datasets
- Train regression and clustering models using Scikit-Learn
- Create deep learning models with TensorFlow and neural networks
- Develop computer vision systems for image classification
- Build NLP applications for text analysis and language processing
- Create AI-powered chatbots using modern language models
- Integrate OpenAI APIs into Python applications
- Automate workflows with intelligent AI systems
- Deploy production-ready AI applications with confidence
Unlike many beginner AI books that stop at simple examples, this guide focuses on practical implementation and real-world problem solving. You will not just learn what machine learning is—you will learn how to apply it to build useful software.
Every chapter is carefully structured to build your skills progressively, taking you from foundational Python concepts to advanced AI applications. Complex ideas are broken down into clear explanations, supported by code illustrations and project-based learning.
This book is perfect for:
- Python developers looking to transition into AI
- Beginners who want a practical entry into machine learning
- Students studying AI, computer science, or data science
- Software engineers exploring intelligent automation
- Professionals who want to leverage AI in real business workflows
- Self-taught learners building career-ready AI skills
By the end of this book, you will have far more than theoretical knowledge—you will possess the practical ability to build intelligent systems that can predict, classify, automate, and assist.
AI is reshaping every industry.
The best way to prepare for that future is to build it yourself.
If you are ready to stop consuming AI hype and start creating real AI-powered solutions, this book will help you take that leap.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
