"John Fox and Tim Sharp's 'Practical electrotherapy; a guide to safe practice, is a good book to introduce students and newly qualified physiotherapists to electrotherapy or to refresh their memories when in the work place. The size and layout of the book are good. The diagrams and images are useful to relate to practical use and the text layout -Technique theory, practical application, research and comprehensive references is easy to use and evidence based." 1st Year Physiotherapy Student, Birmingham University
"Concisely contains the information that any student or junior physiotherapist would need for revision sessions or to keep as a handy reference guide whilst out on placements or rotations. Perhaps the best points are the inclusion of reflective material to guide your learning, précis of research material to back up the theory and also room for your own notes. My conclusion is that this is an excellent addition to the physiotherapy student's library." 1st Year Physiotherapy Student, University of Brighton
"There were very useful references for all electrotherapy areas and the book is very informative. Definitely a book to buy for 1st year students on introduction to electrotherapy." 3rd Year Physiotherapy Student, Glasgow Caledonian University
"I found this book informative and descriptive it gives a true insight into electrotherapy with indications, precautions and contra-indications, which are invaluable to the new student with limited knowledge and practical application skills. During preparation for the end of 1st year vivas it became an invaluable source of reference as it helped to explore other methods of treatment when dealing with muscle and ligament injuries and how they can coincide with exercise prescription in the management of injuries." 1st Year Physiotherapy Student, UCLAN
