Second edition. 217, 32 pp. Red cloth with gilt lettering to the spine and front cover. Slight lean to the binding with some loosening to the front board. Rubbing to the spine and corners, some fading to the spine, and markings to the boards. Some minor spots to the fore edge and prelims. A wonderful early 20th century guide to cooking for each month of the year by Victor Chevalley de Rivaz, collected from his cookery columns in The Queen magazine which were under the pseudonym "The G. C." (Grand Cordon). 8vo.

We have been trading in Chiswick for 55 years - come and visit us in our bow-windowed c18th shop. All of our shipments are now tracked. Our Standard service is currently Royal Mail Tracked with FedEx, UPS and Parcelforce for larger parcels; local conditions vary so please be patient with us. Stephen Foster ; Foster Books, 183 Chiswick High Road, London W4 2DR. Old and rare books, a good turnover of stock leaning towards Arts subjects. Fine bindings, illustrated, literature. Only 5 minutes walk from Turnham Green tube station on the District Line in West London. The Chiswick shop is open Monday to Saturday 10-30 to 17-30 GMT and most Sundays 11 to 5 and earlier at the beginning of the month when the Flower and Antiques Markets are on in front of the shop (by all means call in advance to be sure). We only list a small proportion of the ever changing stock.
