This Scarce Original 1928 Printing is clean, solid and in great shape! This is a hardcover book with about 500 pages including many illustrations and photos. The Intro was written by Orville Wright. The binding is strong with all pages firmly attached. There is a name and an Earl H. Wellman Sr. Memorial Library stamp on the first end paper. The last end paper has some handwritten notes. The second end paper has a small, stamped name on the bottom corner. The pages are otherwise clean and in great shape. The title page shows 1928 as the published date for this Second Edition. The maroon cloth covers have bright gold text. The covers are clean with light edgewear and the corners are a bit bumped. I have placed a fresh mylar jacket over this awesome old book. We always ship in a sturdy cardboard box.
