What do all great drummers have in common?
What do drummers practice in order to go from good to GREAT?
What do you need to become a great drummer?
The answer lies in one essential element: a solid, rudimental foundation.
From iconic drummers like Philly Joe Jones to modern legends like Steve Gadd and Terri Lynn Carrington, they all share this common thread.
And now you can build your foundation with the A Practical Approach to Rudimental Drumming by acclaimed drummer, GRAMMY® nominee, and Julliard alum Carmen Intorre Jr.
What Makes Carmen's Book a Must-Have?
🥁 Comprehensive Exercises: Carmen's book is a goldmine of exercises and solos meticulously designed to transform you into a stellar drummer. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, every page is packed with valuable insights and hands-on practice.
🥁 Real-world Applications: Rudiments are presented in a musical way that allows you to integrate them in real-world use. Rather than mindless exercises, real vocabulary is presented that you can immediately incorporate into your playing.
🥁 Proven Expertise: Discover the secrets of drumming from a true professional, who has performed with greats including Joey Defrancesco, Wynton Marsalis, Pat Martino, Benny Golsen, and more.
Here's What the Pros Are Saying:
"A Practical Approach to Rudimental Drumming offers a professional's look into the importance of having a deep understanding of the foundation. Carmen's book starts with the basic building blocks and moves on to advanced applications of rudimental drumming. As a pro myself, I use many of the examples that are in this book in my professional world and I see more than a few that I need to add to my arsenal. This book is a must for any serious drummer!" - Mike Clark, Drummer for Herbie Hancock, The Headhunters, Drummers Collective
"I find A Practical Approach to Rudimental Drumming to be SPOT ON and an excellent musical addition to REAL drum set study" - Justin DiCioccio, Jazz Artist, Drummer, Pedagogue, Clinician
