यह पुस्तक मेरी तरुण अवस्था में लिखी गयी कविताओं का संकलन है। कुछ कविताओं में समाज की उस अवस्था का वर्णन है जिससे एक बड़ा समाज पीड़ित रहा है। वहीं कुछ कविताओं का संबंध सामाजिक ताने बने को प्रदर्शित करता है। दलित राजनीति के उभरते हुये अवसर पर उससे समाज पर पड़ने वाले प्रभाव का दर्शन भी होता है। वहीं इस बात पर ज़ोर दिया जाना चाहिए की राष्ट्र और राष्ट्रहित सर्वोपरि है। हास्य रस से भरपूर कुछ कुंडलियों के माध्यम से व्यंग वाण चलाकर भी सामाजिक स्तिथियों का भी समावेश करने की कोशिश की गयी है। इस पुस्तक की कविताओं में मेरे ही विचार हैं और इसे व्यंग की द्रष्टि से ही देखा’ जाय, किसी की भवनयों को आहित करना इसका उद्देश्य नहीं है। अगर फिर भी किसी की भावनाओं को ठेस पहुँचती है तो मैं क्षमाँ प्रार्थी हूँ, आशा है पाठक गण उदारता दिखते हुये जहां कुछ कमियाँ हैं बताएँगे जिससे उसे सुधारा जा सके।
