About the Author

TANMAYA HONERVOGT, Reiki master-teacher, has been practicing Reiki for more than 25 years. She trained with one of the few Reiki Masters initiated by Hawaya Takata, who introduced Reiki to the West in 1938. Since 1983, Tanmaya has worked with healing and meditation, and has trained in psychic massage, color therapy, flower remedy treatments, and counseling. At the Tanmaya Honervogt School of Usui Reiki, Tanmaya offers a series of certified training sessions in the traditional Usui method.
