“Only when something breaks you can you find out what you’re made of. Only a broken person knows how strong they really are.”
Two years have passed since Lord Timot Kimorae and his son, Ezren, came to live as part of the Castle Guard.
With his malicious wife, Lady Kimaya and their other sons expanding their reach across the nations — Timot works tirelessly to keep the ever-present threat of another war at bay.
Meanwhile, Ezren focuses on his studies at the Castle Academy. Once free to roam and explore, now his days are spent within the castle grounds, with little chance for adventure.
Timot can sense his son has become restless.
He knows that Ezren longs to escape the castle walls once more, to find adventure and a greater purpose in life for himself.
And so, Timot decides to give his son what he truly wants — a chance…
A chance to see more of the world and to prove himself with a responsibility all his own.
Ezren is determined to succeed in his quest, and to not disappoint his father or his trust.
Yet a danger lies hidden in their future. One that neither Ezren nor his father could ever have anticipated…
The Power of the Broken is the second, thrilling chapter in the Kimorae Rift Trilogy. Return once more with Timot and Ezren to this captivating world of adventure and magic — and discover for yourself where this next part of their journey leads!
