Professor German is the recipient of numerous professional awards, has served on various corporate and academic boards, and is listed in Who′s Who in America and Who′s Who in Engineering. He has published widely, with recent books including Powder Metallurgy Science (1994), and Sintering Theory and Practice (1996).
