Paperback. Human posture is a finely tuned interplay with gravity. No other creature can stand and move on two legs so efficiently over a prolonged period. However, chronic postural deviations often occur. These are suspected of contributing to various ailments and pathologies. This paper examines whether and how it is possible to positively influence human upright posture in the long term through training. To this end, the first part analyses various factors influencing posture, whilst the second part examines possible training methods based on the current body of research. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.
