Item description from seller

Three-Quarter Leather. Good Plus. First Thus. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. An book handsome in appearance and amazing in content. More than 1000 pages, book has marbled covers, end pages and page edges. Small private nameplate on copyright page [William H. Floyd]. Except for a few scuffs on corners, book would be Very Good. Now, inside is an astonishing collection of essays on matters the author considers to be "Positive Facts"--such entries as "The Misery of the Infidel," "The Empire of Nothing," "The Art of Tormenting a Husband," "The History of the Devil" and, of course, a tough look at "The Sluggard.".
