Lisbon: Arte ne Coleccao, Centro de Arte Moderna, 1992. English and Portuguese languages. Softcover with white wrappers in pictorial dust jacket. Nonfiction art critical texts with black-and-white and full-color illustrations including fold-out images, and artist biographies. 11 x 8 1/4 inches. 37 oz. 222 pp. Shelf-wear. Small tear to front cover. Use, wear. Text clean. Good. No ISBN. ASIN: B003LZT6LU. "Issued in conjunction with a 1992 exhibit at the Centro de Arte Moderna, Fundacao Calouste Gulbenkian, in Lisbon. This collection is a very meaningful example of the Portuguese art of the nineteen-eighties, not only because of the important nucleus of artists from the period who are represented in it, but also because of the special attention given to previous artists, whose modernity and affinities with the contemporary scene are obvious.".

Store description

I sell uncommon art catalogs, academic monographs, and prints, as well as rare ephemera such as posters and zines. I ship from Brooklyn, New York. I am an alum of the Rare Book School and the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar, as well as Indiana University and the Ohio State University. I started in the trade at the Wexner Center for the Arts bookstore, and I have previously worked for the Columbus Metropolitan Library, the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago's Department of Prints and Drawings, and the Indiana University Art Museum's center for Prints, Drawings, and Photographs. More recently, I was the rare book cataloger at Donald Heald Rare Books, for whom I worked the ABAA's New York International Antiquarian Book Fair.
