This 5.5 x 8.75, 55-page softcover book is the original 1913 printing of this title. We have described it as good although it is really only the condition of the edges of the brown paper wrappers that lower the condition rating. The paper wrappers were made oversize to the text pages and therefore the edges of the brown wrappers have folded and bent in over the years and there are numbers folds, crinkles, and small tears around the edges of this copy. The photograph is still firmly pasted to the wrappers and the lettering and picture are really in very good condition. The text and covers are held together by a twine binding that ties through the pages in three places. The text pages themselves are in probably very good condition with the frontispiece portrait of William Wordsworth and numerous other photographs, portraits, and illustrations all in very nice conditions. The soft paper has somewhat browned with age and there are some dog-ears to the top corners but really the text is in very nice condition. There are three pages of advertisements to the rear of the text. All in all a very nice item of this scarce and fragile title. 55 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-480
