Portrait of Britain is an annual photography exhibition showcasing 100 of the best portraits taken by people throughout the country. The winning photographs, selected by the British Journal of Photography from an open-call competition, are displayed on digital billboard screens nationwide - in train stations, airports, shopping centres and on high streets - and are seen by over 10 million people. These images celebrate the diversity, culture and identity of Britain today.
Now in its third year, the exhibition will re-launch in September 2018 but for the first time with a book, Portrait of Britain, published by Hoxton Mini Press in collaboration with the BJP. It will feature 200 photographs, including those from the exhibition, alongside information about each image.
