CHAPTER 1
"Falsehood has infinity of combinations, But truth has only one mode of being." Jean-Jacques Rousseau
SEEK THE TRUTH
What are you seeking? Why are you seeking? Perhaps you are seeking the Mysteries of Life, maybe the Mysteries of Eternity or are you seeking the Mysteries of Creation?
There are three things that man is sure of today: birth, physical life and death. Although many questions have been asked, one question has been asked often: "What is man that God is mindful of him?" (Psalms 8:4, King James Version). Since the beginning of man's existence he has been aware of some outer force, a higher force. This has been the same down through the ages with the primitive man, the cave man and it is the same today. It has been sufficiently established through various studies, investigations and science that mankind is a world complete unto self; in other words, he is a Pattern in Miniature and he is the ruler of his own miniature world.
Many questions have been asked by man and from these questions three eventually come to the forefront: a) from whence did we come, b) why, and c) where are we going?
Truth has always existed and it has never changed. Truth is immutable meaning unchangeable and eternal. When man was in the realms of the Holy Spirit he knew all truth; but as man began to lower his vibration to this physical plane we call Earth, he in a sense closed the door to truth. Imagine, if you will, the body of man as a house and his birth into this physical world was the closing of the door to the Higher Realms. The Holy Spirit is still there and truth has not changed, and now it is up to man to open this door from within to view the Higher Realms once again in completeness. The doorknob is on the inside. This truth has been beautifully demonstrated in a painting done by Warren Sallman called "Christ at Hearts Door." Christ and Truth stand waiting, silently knocking for you to open the door. Christ and Truth are unable to enter until you and you alone open the door to Him.
Man has always held some concept of truth according to his own ability to comprehend. Throughout many earth cycles and the progression of mankind as well as the development of the earth this understanding has increased and decreased.
Truth is an all-encompassing religion in that it teaches every aspect of creation (the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). Truth also recognizes the trinity of man; the physical, mental, and spiritual and advocates the study of these aspects, as well as the Science of Life. Truth teaches us about the life of Jesus, the Christ and His mission: love and forgiveness for humanity, compassion for the bereaved, material aid for the needy, healing of the sick, meditation, prayer, and above all devotion to God.
As man takes the steps to progress in his spiritual development he finds that he is not guided by the material conditions of this world. Instead, he learns how to be guided by the spiritual revelations from within his being.
The New Age of Aquarius brings with it a new vibration and a new sense of seeking. The Aquarian Age is an age of increased illumination and it is another step in man's evolution. Mankind is beginning to take the steps to find the real Source: God. Mankind is beginning to think on more spiritual matters.
While seeking Truth, you may question what is religion? Religion translated means "to bind back." In reality, religion means something different to every individual and everyone is free to interpret it for themselves. Truth is not a denomination, creed, cult, faith or sect. Denominations are systems of religion wherein man is encouraged to search for himself and reap his own rewards. There have been and are many man-made denominations as well as man-made laws but these have served as rituals and ceremonies instilling fear instead of faith in the human mind.
According to Abraham (from a workshop held in Ashland, N.C. on April 25, 2004, entitled: The Law of Attraction, The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham: presented by Ester Hicks (Abraham and Jerry Hicks)): "It doesn't really matter what religion anybody believes. If their life is working (and there are many different approaches to life that are working very well) then why not let them believe whatever they want to believe? It's all working in the way that it is supposed to be. There are religions that you wouldn't want anything to do with, that are perfect mechanisms for the people who are involved in them. And therefore, they are a very good thing."
Throughout the many cycles of past lives, man has had a need to worship and has worshiped almost everything including animals, nature, trees, birds, dead ancestors, and idols. Also, he has worshiped ashes of departed souls, effigies, fire, the sun, the moon, sex organs, burial grounds, corpses, torture and black magic. This was always according to man's reasoning capacity and not God's. At the present time man has, to a slight degree, been enlightened and has desired to seek the truth. His love for Almighty God is growing and he is gaining a greater desire to serve. Therefore, the purpose of these writings is to encourage discipleship in the New Age.
Truth is nothing new and has always existed. Call it what you will, but the truth remains truth and is part of your progressive development. As far back as man remembers, even in primitive times man knew that his Spirit was Eternal; he knew beyond a doubt that he was something greater than just this physical body he carried around with him. History has shown that as far back as 40,000 years ago man made an effort to preserve and protect the spirit of his loved ones. He had an inner knowing that the spirit never dies but lives on. There have been cases where it was the custom to arrange food, clothing and trinkets for the comfort of the spirit that had departed, in the event the spirit should return.
Then came an era when mediumship and psychic demonstrations were outlawed, this happened in the Fourth Century around 325 A.D. During the meeting at the Council of Nicaea it was decided that the priesthood would be the ones to give divine guidance. It was decided that those who practiced outside of the priesthood were deemed to be 'false prophets' working for the devil and were labeled witches. This was the beginning of the infamous witch hunts. You may ask why was this done, it was done as a means to control Christianity. Witch hunters tortured, burned and put to death hundreds of thousands of individuals who were suspected of using their psychic gifts.
Even though hundreds of thousands of individuals were put to death during the Middle Ages because of their psychic gifts it did not stop Spirit. Spirit is not human and cannot be stopped. Spirit is of God and is constant and active and must express. The church fathers thought they could control who Spirit communicated with but to no avail. It was these events that the belief in spirit communication by someone not from the priesthood but an average individual was degraded much to the dismay and disappointment of sincere individuals as well as Spirit.
Spirit and spirituality are a phenomenon that is meant to be studied not just by the elite but by everyone. The purpose of spirit communication is good, sacred and holy and is meant to aid man that he might learn and progress spiritually living in this plane of life. The concept of Spirit and spirituality is growing and the need is great. In today's society more individuals are becoming aware that Spirit means Truth, the real Truth that man is seeking.
It is true that our world has known many disasters and upheavals but it is important to remember that in the beginning all was right, good and harmonious. The disasters that our world is facing today have been brought on by man, by his thoughts and deeds and the way to change the course we are heading is to change our thoughts and actions.
So it is with the various religions, in the beginning all religions were right and good but it is what man has done with his ideology of what religion should or should not be that has caused disaster to be brought to them as well.
For such a long time man has lived in a vibration of disaster, negativity, tragedy and war; and it is more of a necessity that he changes his trend of thought from war to peace. Spirit wants communication with every individual, but before man is able to receive the full message that Spirit has to offer he must first prepare his mind. Man must open his mind and review all avenues and teachings; and then accept the teaching that radiates within his being. All things are possible to accomplish unless man thinks otherwise.
We all think on different levels even though we are seeking the same result for what is clear to you may not be clear to another at the time. As you expand spiritually you are able to accept and use the knowledge you have gained. Often times we get lost in our own little worlds and we fail to see the greater plan and purpose that God has for us. Those who truly believe regard God as the Life-giving Principle, the Power and Love manifesting in every aspect of natural phenomenon. God is the eternal Indwelling Spirit of the whole Universe, Divine, Infinite and All-Intelligent.
God governs all creation by Divine Law, Natural Law or Universal Law and God's Law is beyond man's control.
Divine Law requires:
• Initiation by water, fire, air and earth
• Overcoming of conditions resulting in disease, old age and death
• Overcoming of the desire nature
• Learning control
• Doing away with destructive emotions such as: anger, hatred, envy, resentment, jealousy and lust
Divine Laws are God's truth and man is finally beginning to recognize this aspect.
"In oneself lies the whole world and if you know how to look and learn, The door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either the key or the door to open, except you yourself." Jiddu Krishnamurti
CHAPTER 2
"I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High" Psalms 82:6
IN THE BEGINNING
It is important that all true seekers know the fundamental aspects of Creation. Creation is the beginning, cause and purpose for everything; and all humanity is a part of this phenomenon.
In the Holy Bible is found a version of the creation story. This story has been studied for generations, generally from a literal stand point. The Aquarian Age or New Age version is presented for your consideration.
Mrs. St. Clair Stobart author of Torchbearers of Spiritualism gives an explanation of creation from the ancient seers such as Hermes, Pythagoras, and Plato as well as others. These philosophers did not believe "as our modern Theologians do that the world was created in six solar days by a sudden whim of the Almighty. These philosophers believed that it was created knowledgeably and gradually by emanation and evolution."
As we begin our study it is important to remember that every individual has a right to his own conception of creation but with an open mind you are able to view it in a new and different light. For the moment try to clear away all old concepts, fill your mind with elasticity and let it stretch wide in order for you to get the full importance of this study. In the Nineteenth and early Twentieth Century scientists believed that mankind used about 10% of his total mind power but modern day neuro-scientists refute this claim. It does not matter if man uses 10% or a 100% of his brain power what is important is that man continues to release his inhibitions and expand his thinking abilities.
In Genesis 1:1-2 we read: "In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters."
In the beginning! Man is told with these words that time is forever, that God is Eternal and with no beginning and no ending. Then how is there a beginning? Man has also been told that life is a spiral, spiraling around and around each other but always spiraling upward. You may think this sounds ridiculous and hard to believe but for the time being try to accept these statements as the truth.
Man's soul always aspires to achieve the highest and is always evolving. It cannot be stopped. Some believe that as we pass from this life we dwell in Heaven if we are good and if not – well. Then others realize that it takes many lifetimes (cycles of expression or incarnations) into the physical world before we are again united with the Father, or dwell in a concept of Heaven. In reality everyone returns to God, everyone returns back to the source from whence we came.
Genesis 1:1-30; 2:1-3 relays the biblical account of creation and also gives us the four principles of fire, air, water and earth that mankind needs. Within these verses is the creation of everything; minerals, plants, animals and man.
In the beginning was God and from God or out of God came man, the cause or the creation. At this time man began his flow earthward, described as a wave or as a stream bringing with it the all, every attribute that is capable of being transmitted by shear will in the minds of men.
Have you ever had the thought of how long it is going to take for all of mankind to become entirely spiritualized and return to God or do you ever wonder how long this particular cycle of creation has been functioning up to now? According to historical, scientific, and archaeological records, this creation cycle has existed for 39 plus million years. This does not include the time and processes of creation before records were kept but includes the length of time that man has been aware of his existence to keep records. The time of the earth's formation and growth is unrecorded in history, except what has been received from the Master Teachers in spirit to man. Here are some more questions for you to ponder on: What about before that time? How many times do you think you have expressed on this earth or to put it a better way how many lives have you lived?
Let us presume that through time immeasurable that another cycle of creation did return to the Source, to God? This cycle of creation became spiritualized and perfect to return to the Source and become united with the Father, God. As this occurred all was God manifested into one Being, the Absolute. Again, let us presume that when it was required by the Law of God and the desire of Spirit another cycle of creation was put into motion or into operation. That cycle of creation is now and we are a living part of it. This is the Beginning that is spoken of in the Holy Bible. The real truth is that man was and always will be a part of every cycle of creation. Take a moment to catch your breath as this is a great deal to assimilate but try to keep an open mind and you will find yourself on the most wonderful adventure you have ever known.
With the mention of the Holy Bible and creation many individuals question what, or who is God? Every individual has their own conception of God; according to their mental capacity and their desire to express it. A man is only as big as he thinks! Perhaps we can enlarge on your understanding of God with something that is in accord with present day thinking, something that can be applied constructively to your ideal of God.
God has been called by many names including: the Lord, the Father and more. God has also been called the Infinite Source of All, The Infinite and Supreme Being, The Creator, He Who is, He Who was, and He Who is eternal, etc. The finite mind of man is not always capable of knowing, realizing or visualizing the true magnitude of God. However, we do know that God Is or we would not be!
Now we have a Beginning and we have God. The next step states that, "He created Heaven and Earth," but it does not say that He created a place for Heaven therefore Heaven must not be limited to a place. Heaven is actually a manifestation of the highest plane of consciousness and earth is a manifestation of the lower plane of consciousness. In other words, God has prepared a plane that consists of harmony, perfection and spirituality. This place that God has prepared, in time, will serve both the material and physical worlds of humanity.
