1895. No Edition Remarks. 266 pages. No dust jacket. Date assumed from preface. Brown cloth with black lettering to front board and spine. Pages are lightly tanned with moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Former owner's inscription to front free endpaper, with a pencil inscription to paste-down. Slight cracking to hinges, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Gutters are slightly crinkled. Minor dog-eared corners. Occasional thumb-marking present throughout, with a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Fairly heavy tanning to spine and edges, with visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a mild forward lean. Seller Inventory # 1691081581MXP
