With previously published research on policy making only focusing on case studies or budgetary explanations, Randall Ripley and Grace Franklin, alongside a team of qualified researchers, have put together an informative book that goes beyond the shortcomings of such limited information.
Combining the advantages of comparability between policy areas and adequate attention to non-budgetary explanatory variables, Policy Making in the Federal Executive Branch provides readers with information that is important and interesting on multiple aspects of policy and policy making in the United States government.
