A Poet's Tone of Heart presents a collection of poetry that touches the heart and soul to the core. Author Answer-Pray Alcius has written verses on topics ranging from heroes returning from war to endless love to the relationships that create our world. He has composed forty-eight poems that offer insightful portrayals of the people we encounter and the events that are part of our lives.
In "Wedding Ring," a simple object with a profound symbolism evokes a joyful heart, while another poem, "Let Me" ponders how to unlock someone's heart. The uniqueness of Alcius's poetry is the connection it has toward our hearts. A Poet's Tone of Heart portrays life experiences through unique poems that inspire deeply felt emotions.

CHAPTER 1
Failure
Failure is what I am;
Failure is my nature.
It is not my favorite desire
But is my best teacher.
It humbled my flesh
And showed me the reflections of the truth.
I can never deny but accept of
What is already there.
I can never fight it.
If so, it will leave me as a deceiver.
It is the climax of my roller coaster.
At the near end, failure leaves me
The treasure of successes.
My Guidance
I will not look at you
With my eyes but with my heart.
My sight can deceive the heart,
But my heart can never deceive my sight.
My heart only seeks the beauty from within
And shadows the outer.
It is the perfect mirror
Without the blind spot
That will always reveal the truth.
The plaster emotions that you establish with
Your thoughts and the flesh
Are meaningless to its presence.
My heart will never guide me to
The wrong road but will lead me
To the chosen one.
Hearts of Champions
The sweats, the heartbeats, and the breath
Are nothing compared to this earth.
The passion, the ethics, and the mentality
Are beyond the insanity of any reality.
The pains, the struggles, and the heartbreaks
Are the immunity of their universe.
It can never be comprehended or exemplified.
It cannot be stopped or contained.
Greatness is its driven force.
The will, the fire will keep on burning
To everlasting remarks down in history.
Many have tried to obtain such,
But only so few have acquired.
They will be legends and heroes that give us
Dreams and keep our children dreaming,
Give us hope and inspire our grandchildren to the fullest,
For they too have walked in their shoes in the past.
We looked at them and captured the moments
To cherish greatness at its best.
The heart of champion cannot be tamed
nor be conquered.
Faded Scenery
You have looked upon the past
And wondered, will anything ever last?
You are witnessing that everything
Is falling apart as each day is rattling by.
Sadly, it is strangling your heart.
The sweet childhood memories
Are now forever embedded in history.
The sunset on the playground is
Different as you walked by it,
Wishing you could go back
And revive those sweet melodies,
Remembering those nights of how you used
To dream of those things that lie ahead,
Which were so unclear to you then.
Now, you are feeling the tears rolling down your eyes,
As you know that it is beyond your reach.
The past is like a tangible stain that can never be clean;
It is forever equipped in your mind.
At this moment, you stand in the present—
At the other end, where you are already
Past your heydays.
You are seeing the unclear images boldly,
For you have lived on the end of both ropes.
There is no more dreaming.
There is no more questioning.
There is no more waiting.
Only time will tell the final tale.
Through You
Through your eyes,
I will see all the miseries.
Through your ears,
I will hear the voices of the speechless.
Through your mouth,
I will speak for the voiceless.
Through your face,
I will image the outcast.
Through your heart,
I will love the unloved.
Through your shoulder,
I will carry all burdens.
Through your arm,
I will comfort the broken.
Through your hands,
I will feed the feeble.
Through your feet,
I will conquer every ground.
Through your body,
I will shield the vulnerable.
Through your name,
I will serve justice to the righteous.
Through you,
I can do all things that are beyond
Every eye, mind, and heart.
So let every faith become the scenes of reality.
Heart of a Hero
He has chosen to step on the frontline
To witness the gory sight.
In his eyes, you can taste his fears,
But those fears were so precious and dear.
He wields many weapons;
That was so clear to the enemy.
His will and courage was like none other's.
He laid it all on the battlefield,
Where he stands tall and proud.
For those he left behind and his fellow countrymen,
His final vision was laughter, joy, and peace.
Of those who knew nothing of him,
At his final moments, he had no regrets;
He died a joyous death.
The Gentleman That Cries
He laid aside his pride
And swallowed his entire ego
That lay upon his chest.
He wiped the mirror of lies
That revealed the unseen truths.
He walked away from the darkness
And marched toward the glimpse of light.
He vividly fell upon his knees
And let it all sink out, the rains of pains,
The torn angers, the emptiness that is set upon him,
The clouds that had concealed his true emotions,
The fears that has shadowed him,
Holding not a wave back to shed the tears of relief.
As the moment passed, he then rose from the ground, his new
birthplace.
With a brave smile upon his chest that expressed it all,
He is the gentleman that cried
The pure nature of his heart.
He has conquered what most have not
Nor could have.
At last he has been broken from
The soul to flesh,
Inside and out.
Her World
She is dancing to her own tune.
You can call her Looney-Toon
In her haven room,
Where it is filled with cartoons.
This is where she lets
Her imaginations run wild.
And lets the inner soul come out.
Her dreams become the realities
Where no one stands to be the judge
Behind the closed door.
It is just her and the blank walls,
Her true fortress
Without the reality check.
At last, her becomes alive.
The Unknown Path of a Soldier
Staring at the mirror of horror,
Seeing not what the future holds for me,
Lost in the world of yin and yang,
Where darkness and light struggle.
Confused without a motive to march on,
I leech on their moral standards,
Following their shackles, wherever they flow,
Condemning my soul to my fears,
Which grow weary for redemption.
Weeping blood on the floor in pain,
Alone in the dark light on my knees,
Visualizing the coffin where I pose
To eternal defeat.
So I then rose before their eyes.
As I stare deeper into the mirror,
Shattering the magical illusions,
Seeing a glimpse of its sunshine,
Knowing that freedom is at hand,
The endless, dreadful puzzle has been complete;
The man in the mirror was destined to be.
Endless Love
Love is special.
Love is the action
Beyond the emotion.
Love is compassion.
Love has no doubt.
Love is the light
That conquered all hatreds.
True love never fades away.
People change,
The sky changes,
Time changes—
But love forever remains.
It has a beginning but no definite ending.
Your Will
You can love me,
Or you can hate me.
You can stay by my side,
Or you can fade away.
I can do nothing more,
Nor nothing less.
Whatever it be,
I shall receive it with honest joy.
I will wish nothing less
But all of the best
Throughout your journey
Or the path that you have set your mind unto.
The final power lay within you,
Your will, and your heart.
Second to Greatness
I was born into the number-one jersey,
So I chose to wear the second.
In the classroom, I did not attempt the As,
So I stayed proud of my Bs.
I chose to stay out of the starting lineup,
So I gladly enjoyed the bench.
I stayed away from her,
So you got the benefits of the occasion.
In my vocabulary, me and I weren't found,
So him and her became popular.
In my world, I broke the light switch,
So I became your shadow.
To Those I Owe
I owe it to you, to them,
To those who believed in me
When my future had no hope,
To those who invested in me
When I looked bankrupt,
To those who created me
When my picture had no image.
I owe it to you, to them,
To those who have distrusted me
When their eyes told them no lies,
To those who have disregarded me
When their hearts told them the truth,
To those who mocked me
When their reasons were clear.
I owe it to you, to them,
To those without the chance to dream,
To those who were born without the courage,
To those who are suffering.
I owe it to you, to them,
To every eye, to every heart,
Whether friend or foe, good or bad
Rich or poor,
I owe it to you, to them, to all.
Red Carpet
It has been shown that I lived a glamorous life,
But yet you know nothing of me.
I put on a show with a sunshine face,
But yet my heart is quite the opposite.
Fool you once, twice, and again and again.
Shame on you for not noticing.
You have sworn that you knew me
From head to toe,
Past and present,
But you—still a timeline away from my history—
Are too caught up with your blindness and foolishness
To see my invisible mask,
But yet you have called yourself a friend.
Highlights
The cameras are always there.
The films keep on rolling.
They have assembled all my fame and glory,
But never my failures.
They always seem edited to the right moments,
Making me feel greater than the gods.
But in my reality, they falter,
For before my successes came my failures.
I cherish my failures and kneel before them,
For without them, I wouldn't be at the peak.
So please let all the clips be shown
And all the collages be viewed
Because I want to be a complete story.
Wedding Ring
Caught a dove
White as snow,
Happiness at hand,
Joy at heart.
Complete at last,
Colliding our wings
To take flight
In the light of our special night.
Under the sheets of heaven
Lay our hearts,
The foundation of love,
For eternity, for each other.
Limitless
My flows got a thousand miles to run
Down under the sun.
It trips and falls;
Still it don't stall.
Hate it or like it,
It's your freedom and will.
There is no brake to it.
Even though the casket drops,
It will never stop.
My rhymes may not go
With your grind.
Good luck; still I will let it shine.
The tables will get served
Even though it gets on your nerves.
Untitled
Death, love, pain, and fear
Came knocking at my door.
At the rooster's chanting,
We sat down across each other, fellowshipping peacefully,
Chatting and toasting to our remorse and prosperity
Until the howl of wolves.
We concluded our meeting
With warm good-byes.
As they started disappearing from my sight,
I chuckled, for they knew not
That I'm one step ahead of them.
Alcius Saxon Boast
I am the heir of the last Alcius, which has survived to live on,
Risen from the ashes to set my feet on the battlefields and bear
grounds
Where no bonehouse has stepped.
Broken the limits beyond the lights of the universe
To accomplish my ambitions of becoming great,
My soul has escaped death for as long as I can remember.
Still I laugh at the face of death.
I have sailed the seven whaleroads from angle to angle
And conquered every great shark of the mightiest wave traveler.
I am the only flame that can live in the rain,
Surpassing the greatness of gods,
Uncontainable to every great mind that bears a battle friend.
Carried the world on my back and tamed every
obstacle known to men—
Witness greatness like none other.
I am what I am: Alpha and Omega.
Lucifer
He has a heart of a lion
And the features of a goddess.
He speaks sweeter than the flow of honey
And possess the voice of a virgin.
His keen eyes are irresistible
And are sharper than the golden sights of an owl.
He attacks his prey so clearly and dearly
And left them ill, mentally and physically.
They come so easily and vulnerably,
Like the magnet that never repels.
He is the cancer to their soul
That is incurable in any manner.
So will she be the next?
Family
Family is worth more than gold,
Priceless beyond the glaring beauty of diamond.
It is the cornerstone of our foundations,
Which are passed on down from our ancestors.
The element that cannot be broken
But a mixture of quality of infinite love.
We build each other like the daily skyscrapers in the city
Standing high beyond the sky.
Taller, brighter than the neon lights of heavenly stars,
Our love is made out of layered concrete
Tightly compressed in our roots,
Never shattered by the weights on top.
We are wielded by our failures that lead to our successes
To multiply our greatness out of darkness.
We are family down to the thickest blood.
We stand next to each other down the line in the war
As we ride into battle.
If one falls, we all fall.
If one rises, we all rise
With passion and honor for each other.
A True Savior
Rain is pouring, thunder growling
At the middle hour.
You are knocking; knowing that it is you,
My heart is wielded by fire and ice—
You came to my rescue.
Needing to open, so I fail to attempt
Denying your existence before my peers.
You knocked harder than the rocks of the earth.
Still I refused your welcoming.
You cried my name louder than the choired angel of heaven.
Still I refused your welcoming.
You are aching for my soul all night long.
I have known the path that I had chosen,
That is leading me to the bottomless pit,
Chanting that it is a myth.
Glorying my honor according to kings of the world,
You are wet, cold, and shivering.
Still you kept knocking.
You never grew weary for my soul.
You chose not to turn your back to me.
I have failed you and lacked your commands,
Yet I have found favor in your eyes.
I walk to answer your final call before sunrise,
Opening the gates that had separated our veins,
Bowing my head and falling at your feet
To take the mercy that you have granted me,
Ashamed of myself but smiling with joy.
If I were to disappear, I would reappear
In the next life because
I have made an everlasting treaty
With the prince of peace.

My World, My Shoes
My world—
A bar full of many open bottles,
Nights full of emptiness,
Hatred all over my door
That dwells inside my heart.
No love exists down in this aisle—
Concealed in this dark light,
Without hope in my sight,
Left alone in this pit
To be eaten by fears
That brings untamed tears
Outspoken by this loneliness.
Untitled
The camera only captured
A small glimpse of the moments.
The video only witness
The external emotions.
The movies only portraits
The characters that we are not.
The mirrors only see the outward
Imperfections and the flaws that are encrypted.
The makeup deceits us with limited
Securities from our insecurities.
The fame and the castles impression that
We are enormous but yet are so small.
Our length of time only lasts for a vapor.
This is the world I reside in.
Bievenue, mes amis.
