Store description
Kosti’s Last Sunday Bookstore specializes in used, rare, out-of-print, and small-press books drawn from the extensive archive of writer, critic, and avant-garde publisher Richard Kostelanetz. Based in New York, the store reflects decades of collecting across literature, poetry, art, criticism, philosophy, performance, media studies, and experimental culture. Our inventory includes scholarly works, literary first editions, independent and alternative press publications, exhibition catalogs, artist books, and hard-to-find titles with particular strengths in twentieth-century and contemporary avant-garde movements. Many books offered through the store come from a long-maintained private research collection and are selected for their intellectual, historical, and cultural value. Kosti’s Last Sunday Bookstore continues the spirit of Richard Kostelanetz’s long-running open-house book events by making unique and significant books accessible to readers, collectors, researchers, and institutions worldwide. …
