Internally very good clean tight sound square, no bookplate, inscription, or marks of any kind, tender to verso of upper endpaper, else well held in joints and hinges. Beautifully bound in bright lettered ruled and illustrated green calf leather, backed over green cloth boards with leather corners, great shelf presence featuring 5 raised bands and 5 bright gilt floral illustrated compartments, gilt ruling to both boards, top edge very bright gilt. A lovely edition for reader, scholar and collector alike.
