1835 copy of The Poetical Works of the Rev. George Crabbe: with hi letters and journals and his life, by his son. In eight volumes. Full leather with gilt borders, edges and dentelles. Marbles endpapers and text block edges. Ornate gilt banded spine with black labels and gilt title/volume number and book content. All eight volumes in very good condition with the usual rubbing to the edges, spine and corners. A few leather marks overall. Foxing to all, mainly to the preliminary pages, frontispiece and end pages. Reading pages clean. Volume 2 label is chipped whilst volumes 3 and 8 title labels need re-pasting.
