Print on Demand. This book presents an extensive compendium of the most remarkable fugitive poetry of the period, carefully referenced to the works from which the poems stem. Distinct from other anthologies of its kind, this book stands out for its scholarly approach, adhering to strict attribution practices. While the book was initially intended to exclude any poems that had appeared in collected works or were likely to appear in such works, the passage of time has seen many of the once fugitive pieces incorporated into established anthologies. Nevertheless, this book remains a valuable resource, offering a glimpse into the literary landscape of its time and preserving a treasure trove of poetic gems that might otherwise have been lost to obscurity. The author's meticulous efforts ensure that each poem is accurately attributed to its original source, allowing readers to explore the broader contexts in which these literary fragments were created. Overall, this book is not merely a collection of poems; it is a testament to the enduring power of the written word and the importance of preserving our literary heritage. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
