51 p. 18 cm. Frontisportrait of Riel and illustration showing the Riel residence. Grey paper covers, disbound. Front cover and frontispiece trimmed. Typewriter used to add "New Edition 1970 5.00" on front cover. Rear cover rough at edges. Chip to p. 3 at spine. Rear endpaper torn and missing corner. This original was used by Canadiana House printing company to produce their reproductions in 1970. It is inherently interesting for its topic matter as well as its relationship to the development of Canadian History as a field of study and collection. Poems include: "A Sir John A. Macdonald," "Au Rev. Pere Jesuite Frederick Ebersville," "Joseph Damiani," etc. Seller Inventory # 1942
