FIRST ENGLISH EDITION, frontispiece photograph of Jacob Epstein bust of Tree, 4 full-page illustrations at opening of each section and title-page design by Curtis Moffat, title-page border printed in red, pp. 144, crown 8vo, original grey cloth stamped in navy blue to upper board and backstrip, a few faint spots with slight bump to top corners, dark patch at head of lower joint, top edge green with others roughtrimmed and a little toned, bookplate of Anthony Hobson and small bookseller ticket to front pastedown, good. The author's first commercially available publication, following a booklet printed privately a few years earlier during her honeymoon with artist Curtis Moffat, who contributes designs here. The UK edition follows the US, from the year before; a number of the poems had been printed in the Sitwells' 'Wheels' anthologies and Harriet Monroe's 'Poetry' magazine. The youngest daughter of Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree, the author studied at the Slade and was associated with Nancy Cunard.…
