Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A readable copy. All pages and the cover are intact (dust cover may be missing). Pages can include considerable notes--in pen or highlighter--but notes cannot obscure the text. An acceptable condition early 1800s pocketbook. Volume 1 only of a 3-volume set. Severe wear and loss to the leather sections of the binding with the top third of the spine cover absent. Marbled boards are chipped. A crack to the guttering beside the title page that makes it half-loose. The pastedowns and endpapers show the bulk of the handling and toning and the rest of the textblock redeems this copy with pleasantly bright pages overall. A firm binding throughout. A reading and reference copy only with potential for rebinding.
