Octavo; x,352p,[6]. Contemporary full calf, raised banbds, gilt ruling and lettering piece to spine. SLightly worn, small surface patch of leather chipped from the upper cover, joints are sound, few spots endpapers. Overall a Nr VG copy of this interesting work by the Chaplain to King George II. Include poems on Miss Poynter's squirrel, On her canary bird,to Mrs Elwes and his Lady, to a friend on the death of his cow, to Mr Pope on his Homer, and so on. A splendid volume of English poetry.
