Hardcover. Reprint. The Poems of Johnson, Goldsmith, Gray and Collins. Writing to end inside back cover. Foxing to end inside covers. Wear and a closed tear to top edge of sp9ne. Wear to corners. Blue cloth with gilt letterings. The men were, each in his own way, some to the chief writers of the middle period of the eighteenth century: two of them, to be sure, wrote far more prose than poetry: but the poetry is there, and it has seemed to me desirable to bring it altogether within the limits of a single volume. 358 pp.
