LEGEND OF THE GOLDEN ITALIAN KNIGHT
A child marked for death. A destiny marked by Heaven. A legend ready to rise.
When tragedy steals the life of his beloved wife, Donatello De Serio—Podestà of the city of Speranza—succumbs to madness and condemns his newborn son to die. But two courageous midwives defy his order, fleeing with the infant Dominicus. They bring him to a secluded Carmelite convent along the Serio River, the child is raised in secret, shaped by faith, wisdom, and the quiet strength of those who protected him.
More than twenty years later, a letter arrives bearing devastating news: Speranza has fallen to mercenaries led by Draco, the ruthless half‑brother Dominicus never knew.
The Mother Superior recognizes the moment foretold in her sacred dream—the moment the young man must embrace the destiny heaven whispered to her when he was only three-years-old.
In the spring of 1485, entwined with the colorful history, political turmoil, and breathtaking landscape of Northern Italy, Dominicus De Serio steps forward as il Cavalier d'Oro—the Golden Knight. With loyal companions at his side and faith burning in his heart, he embarks on a miraculous quest to reclaim his homeland, confront the darkness of his bloodline, and ignite a legend forged in courage, hope, and love.
The adventure begins. The Golden Knight rises.
A Story filled with vengeance, cruelty, bloodshed, and forbidden love.
