From the Author
I wrote the Pocket Guide because my students would often ask for a good book on self-hypnosis. They wanted something for their own use or to pass along to friends who were working on life issues. My goal was to create a resource that was comprehensive, effective and easy to use. So I distilled the best elements of my training program and put it into this book.
The Pocket Guide is essentially a portable school of self-hypnosis. It is based on a 100-hour hypnotherapy training program I teach here in the U.S. and abroad. It is packed with useable information written in a clear and concise format.
Each chapter provides easy to follow instructions to guide the user through the key steps of effective self-hypnosis. There are chapters on relaxation, working with imagery, creating powerful suggestions and more. The applications section includes scripts and plenty of ideas for working on issues such as addiction, health and healing, insomnia, sports performance and weight management.
Ultimately, this book is designed to help people change and do better in life. I hope you enjoy reading it, and that it makes your world even brighter. Good luck!
