Small 12mo. 4pp as fold over board. Slides into light purple wallet as issued. Publisher's yellow card printed covers, red freeze around edges, black & yellow board inside. The 1st edition was designed by Peter Roget ( of Thesaurus fame ). 16 black + 16 red card chess pieces with draughtsmen on obverse, fitted into slots complete. Wallet : slight patchy fading else clean and complete. Board : very faintest rubs corners, paper cracking at top inner hinge else very clean, bright and unchipped. Pieces :clean, complete and attractive. Complete, clean and attractive set. VG/F-/F- walle t/ set / pieces. Seller Inventory # 20137
