Ranger Tom Avery follows the call into the Cutbank drainage and finds an illegal trap line set by someone who knows the land well. About the Author
Jack Ridge lives and writes from the rugged heart of the Rockies, where the mountains hold secrets as deep as the pine-shadowed valleys. A former wilderness guide with twenty years patrolling remote trails, he knows firsthand how a single misstep-or misplaced motive-can unravel everything. When not plotting the next Timberline Ranger mystery, Jack splits wood, chases trout streams, and walks the high ridges with his two rescue mutts. Murder on Ridge Trail is his first cozy mystery.
