Zustand: Sehr gut | Seiten: 48 | Sprache: Englisch | Produktart: Bücher | There's nothing more painful than looking around and realizing you've become the sum total of the expectations of everyone around you. No harder pill to swallow than acknowledging that you've built a life, not based on what you truly desire, but on social conditioning, religious indoctrination, mommy culture, and patriarchal capitalism. This life keeps you in your head, in your thoughts, and riddled with anxiety, overwhelm, and maybe even bitterness. Pleasure Principles for Driven Women is the aha moment you've been waiting for. It shows you how to reclaim your power through intuitive movement. Being an ambitious go-getter doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your right to pleasure. You deserve to feel good on a daily basis, not because you labored your way to earning it. The root of our personal and collective suffering, and why it's so hard to find a work-life balance that actually works, has a lot to do with being disconnected from our bodies. This book teaches you how to spend less time dwelling on what already happened, what might happen, or what needs to happen and begin bringing more awareness back into your body and your spirit. Reclaiming your you-ness and realizing what you need to be truly happy requires that you break out of the monotonous routines and begin moving your body with more intuition and feminine intention. Women have sacrificed their relationship with their bodies for long enough and, in doing so, have relinquished access to the personal power that comes with being connected to their embodied wisdom. It's time to reclaim that power. This book will show you how.…

Store description
