Large crown 4to, guarded frontispiece, title, xii, 210; guarded frontispiece, title, [iv,], 238; guarded frontispiece, title, [iv,], 198, guarded frontispiece, title, [iv,], 236 p. 28 tissue guarded photo portraits of leading Shakespearean actors, collated complete. Half maroon morocco, brown pebble grain cloth, five raised bands, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt. Some of the tissue guards have light foxing that has affected the plates and opposite pages otherwise a pristine set with pristine text pages. Armorial Robson boar's head bookplates on both front pastedowns. Perfect for a gift.
