Delicately engraved map of the portion of Quebec east of Quebec, west of the St. John's and Madawaska Rivers, south of the St. Lawrence. Features the Mars Hill Highlands with indication that it was the US/Canada border, though there is a dotted line quite close to the St. Lawrence designated "Assumed Boundary by the United States. " Outline color. Excellent condition. Apparently issued separately. One of only four maps by Smillie, Quebec's first map engraver. Gagnon 4413.
