Border includes a scale measuring in miles, and a key in an upper left corner lists the rivers by continent and length. Detailed depictions of notable mountains surround the rivers, and a lavish cartouche features a lounging figure and foliage. Original fold line as issued. George Philip (1800-1882) was a cartographer and map publisher who began working in educational material. His son, also George (1823-1902), joined the successful and expanding firm in 1848. This fine map is an impressive example of their work.

Media Mail (Book rate) is $4.00 for 1st volume and $2.00 for each additional volume.
Priority mail is $11.00 for 1st volume and $3.00 for each additional volume.
UPS is $14.00 for 1st volume, $3.00 for each additional volume.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Books of "average" size might be sent overseas via Global Priority Airmail for $35.00 each volume, but oversized or overweight books must be sent by other methods or carriers, and will almost certainly cost more, depending on the actual weight.
