Back-2-Back: The Official Stanley Cup Championship Commemorative Book is the only officially licensed Pittsburgh Penguins collectible hardcover coffee table book that chronicles and celebrates both the 2016 and 2017 Stanley Cup victories, including the unforgettable victory parades.
The greatest fans in hockey were rewarded in 2016 when the Pittsburgh Penguins broke through and won the Stanley Cup following a stretch of heart-wrenching near misses. In 2017, driven to defend their title and keep the Cup in Pittsburgh, the Penguins improved on their regular season record and won the Eastern Conference following two tough seven-game series against the Capitals and Senators. In the Finals, Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Patric Hornqvist, Jake Guentzel, Phil Kessel, Matt Murray, and a squad of tenacious, determined Penguins vanquished the upstart Predators and won the Stanley Cup for the fifth time in franchise history.
From Skybox Press, the leading publisher of exceptional sports commemorative books, including the Penguins book Jerseys: Then and Now, this superlative quality treasury is filled with more than 100 full-color photos, original essays by Penguins players Patric Hornqvist, Matt Murray, Jake Guentzel and Matt Cullen and broadcaster Mike Lange, and is authored by Hockey Hall of Fame award-winning writer Michael Farber. A true one-of-a-kind remembrance, no other book shows and tells the whole story of Pittsburgh's return to dominance and its dynasty in the making.
For Penguins fans young and old, Back-2-Back: The Official Stanley Cup Championship Commemorative Book is the perfect gift and the ultimate keepsake!
