The covers have a touch of edge wear. The word "pithy" means to capture the essence of something in a way that is concise, succinct, and to the point. Consequently, the pithy meanings in this book are brief, easy to remember interpretations for the Tarot cards. And more than that, they will stimulate further insights when you think about them. There are about a thousand pithy meanings in this book for you to consider. They range from being fun and amusing to profound and inspirational. Some are famous quotes or aphorisms, and others are philosophical truths; some give advice, and others warnings; some are spiritual insights, and others are more like what we traditionally call "fortunes." If you are a Tarot novice, these meanings reveal the power of the Tarot cards in the quickest, easiest way possible. If you are already an experienced Tarot reader, they are a fun way to deepen your understanding of the cards. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
