Paperback. Have you ever wondered what secrets ELITE pitchers know that help them compete at a high level more consistently than others? Perhaps you already have physical talent and understand that the mental side is what truly distinguishes top performers. You may have even learned about the mental side from some big names but your results could still be more consistent. What you need is a concrete psychological framework to operate from. All top pitchers have five distinct cognitive patterns in which they approach the craft. These five secrets of ELITE level pitchers are in this book. The good news is that they can be learned and strengthened by nearly anyone with enough purposeful effort. Each chapter contains specific exercises on how to strengthen each mindset so you can set yourself up for success. It is often said that the game of baseball (or softball) is played one pitch at a time. When you approach each outing with a one pitch at a time focus, you are more likely to be in the Zone. The Zone is not some random phenomenon that "only happens so often", it is purposefully cultivated or "summoned". In order to access the Zone more often, you have to be more systematic and intentional. The five secrets contained in this book ARE the five real skills for competing one pitch at a time. They are known as the 5 Mental Tools and they represent the very fabric of the Zone. If you want to pitch your best on a more consistent basis, then you have found the right book. After reading this book, you will be reminded of your true purpose as a pitcher every time you step on the mound. #USA #ThinkGoldGetGold #FAH This item is printed on demand.
