Paperback. Dave Adams is a teenager standing at a crossroads in his life. He's lonely, a bully in need of direction. Through the pages of an ancient, leather-bound journal, Dave makes contact with an ancestor, James Adams, captain of a seventeenth century sailing-ship. Captain Adams is also straddling a fence, and the life of an honest sea-going merchant pales in comparison to the excitement and opportunities available for a captain willing to do what it takes to get ahead. Will the captain's decisions take him and his crew where they want to go? And how will those decisions affect Dave as he makes his way through high school and finds his first summer job? Pirate Journey explores the parallel lives of a scurvy sea captain and a high school bully as they make decisions and face the consequences of their choices, both good and bad. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
