Later title from 1969 (not noted in book, but per Lindgren's bio) to the series of classic tales about one of the most beloved of all little tomboys in literature, who lives with her horse & monkey, but no grownups, in a raggedy house in a small Swedish town & engages the "normal" boy & girl next door in her marvelous adventures. This edition published by Statoil is from 1992, translated into Norwegian from the original Swedish by Jo Tenfjord, with the original colorful illustrations throughout the155 pages of text by Ingrid Vang Nyman. Condition is Near Fine: just slightly less crisp than Brand New! Only real flaw is mild-moderate page tanning, heavier around edges. Otherwise, completely clean, binding tight & square. Our photos depict the Exact book you will receive, never "stock" images of books we don't actually have! Same Day Shipping on all orders received by 2 pm Weekdays (Pacific); later orders, weekends & holidays ship very next business day.
