ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
In our society we instill that obedience is the most important virtue. In effect, we require structure, laws, and regulations, these give us a good base from which to start, from which to fly.
The problem begins when we get stuck on that base, when we dare not analyze or decide, when we believe that blindly obeying and looking good to others is the most important thing. Color Outside the Lines shows us, with a great sense of humor, the wealth that awaits when we dare to disobey.
&;For a world full of Susans, who not only color outside the lines but inspire others to do it.&; - Sofía Niño de Rivera
&;I dared to disobey and get outside the lines, thanks to that I am free and I grew from breaking old patterns.&; -Francisco Martín Moreno, writer
&;Color Outside the Lines reminded me of the moments when I have been the freest and happiest&; when I stopped obeying and trying to be impeccable, when I dared to leave my fears and achieve my dreams.&; - Érica Beltrán, one of only seven Mexicans who have swam across the Strait of Gibraltar from Europe to Africa.
&;Color Outside the Lines is an interesting reflection on a fundamental principle: freedom. Freedom to choose when and how to create, to know where the line is, and how to move freely from one side to the other. &;- Alex Venguer, engineer/producer, winner of three Grammy and Oscar-winning films.
