SEPARATED FROM HIS POD. HUNTED IN OPEN WATERS. THE ONLY LAW IS SURVIVAL.
More than ten thousand years ago, when the lost land of Doggerland still linked Britain to mainland Europe and the Ice Age was drawing to a close, a young gray seal named Sark becomes separated from his pod and is thrust into a world where every wave may conceal a hunter and every mistake can mean death.
Alone in the cold waters of the North Atlantic, Sark must rely on instinct, courage, and determination as he struggles to survive. Orcas patrol the open sea. Great white sharks lurk below. Hunger gnaws at him. Storms threaten to drag him beneath the waves. With no family to protect him and no safe harbor to call home, Sark must learn the harsh rules of the ocean one day at a time.
From vast kelp forests and rocky coastlines to the deep waters where ancient predators reign, Pinniped is a gripping animal survival adventure that brings readers into the world of marine wildlife with vivid realism and heart-pounding suspense.
Perfect for readers who enjoyed White Fang, The Call of the Wild, and Watership Down, Pinniped is an unforgettable journey of courage, resilience, and the relentless struggle to survive in one of Earth's most dangerous environments.
In the ocean, no one is coming to save you. Survival must be earned.
