A lonely woman lives in a ramshackle house ... deep in the woods ... where she cares for her disturbed young son. As brutal killings in the woods draw ever nearer, she comes to realize that her son has a psychic link to something in the forest.
***
Deep within the woods, a small band of friends encounter a monstrous evil. Is it the legendary Jersey Devil? Will they flee ... or stay and fight?
This is a horror novel, often referred to as a "modern classic," which takes place within the New Jersey Pine Barrens.
