Not dated. 1909 date with name and address. Edition not known. In good dark red cloth boards, blind stamped decorated front, with oblong gilt title field with titles and ornate design to front, gilt titles and decoration to spine cloth. The covers are unmarked, with cracked hinge to front from tail end and a little loose; the corners and spine cloth ends bumped and frayed. Slightly tanned free end papers; 'bequest' inscription on front free end paper. Small white bookseller's stamp on front paste down from Parker & Son, Oxford. Gilt top edge; the fore and tail edges are deckled and tanned. The text block is firm and square, foxing to some pages. With 'thirty-one full page illustrations from original drawings by Harold Copping' . Very good condition. The frontispiece has tissue guard (tanned). Seller Inventory # 51981

Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day, seven days a week, from 10.00am to 5.00pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. We pack our books in corrugated book wrap or book boxes. We try to respond to orders the same day as we receive them or during the next business day. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 1.1 lb, or 0.5KG.
